Before we take you on our journey, I would like to point out that my husband, Bill, and I are not new to travel. Years ago, we determined that we would not wait for retirement to see the USA or visit other countries. Too many people wait until they are no longer working and discover that they are unable to physically or financially travel. We have always been pleased with our decision. Our vacations have been very pleasant and relaxing. Probably the most challenging situations we ever faced were surviving the craziness of making connections at large airports and the time I caught a cold from a fellow passenger on a flight to Hawaii. I was sick for most of the trip. These inconveniences pale in comparison to the challenges we faced on our first RV vacation. Do I think travel will be like this in our future? I pray, not. But if and when the challenges come, I know that God will help us, just as He did on our first RV trip. Also Featured Bill and Mary’s RV Tips We learned a lot from our first RV trip. In our book, we provide suggestions and tips that may answer some of the questions you have about RV travel. How did we manage food for thirty-two days? • How did we manage vitamins and medications? • How did we manage the laundry? • Would you like a dashboard cover to protect your dashboard? • Does the person who rides in the passenger seat complain about hot feet? • Can you trust your GPS system? • Have you ever forgotten to lower your TV antenna? • Where are my tools? • Learn why you shouldn’t store all your tools in the outside cargo holds. • Who may have the best information to determine if it is going to freeze overnight? • How did we stay warm on cold nights? • What information do you need to write down before and during travel? • Are rest areas available on all highways? • Let’s get serious. Great read. Fast and fun. God is good, an ever present help in time of trouble . Evidence of His love fills the story of their first RV excursion. I recommend this for RVers and anyone wanting to give it a try.
